2010 World Series Game Six – REPLAY   4 comments

even game for the series which means i’m using Statis Pro Advanced.  if you loved the old Statis Pro, take it to the next level with SPA.  the advanced has L/R splits for both pitchers and hitters.  you might see a pitcher like CJ Wilson who is a 2-8 versus lefties, but only a 2-7 versus right handers.  it completely changes the game and makes it more realistic.  then he also includes controls built right into the card.  some players don’t strike out as much.  some players rarely walk.  those controls are built in to help make the game even more statistically accurate.  i love this game.  Derrick does a great job making them and my advice would be to get the printed version, however if you want the PDF, he sells those, too (and for a lot less).

If you’ve not already done so, please take two seconds and subscribe to this blog on the left side of your screen.

in real life the Rangers got slapped around like a cheap whore (no offense to any cheap whores who may be reading this).  i predicted the Giants in five and that’s exactly what happened.  while the Giants didn’t have much hitting, they had a ton of pitching and that’s what allowed them to take the series in five (did i mention i predicted that?).

BUT this is the replay.  it’s been a topsy turvy series and the Rangers are on the precipice of winning their first ever world series.  they lead the series 3 games to 2, but they have to go back to face the Giants in San Francisco.  the Giants are throwing Cain again while the Rangers send CJ Wilson to the mound.

wow!  this was a great series.  i’ll be honest with you, i wanted the giants to win, but, as the Rolling Stones sang, you can’t always get what you want.  i thoroughly enjoyed using both the regular Statis Pro and the Statis Pro Advanced.  i highly recommend both variations.  you can’t go wrong with either one of them.

i hope  you enjoyed the write ups and took the time to subscribe to this site.
